Let’s ‘Talk’ about Con Davison’s latest music video…

After finding a new adventure in Minneapolis at age 20, putting music on the back burner is completely heart-breaking. Steadily discovering the Twin Cities music scene was a true blessing for Con Davison. He scattered himself to drum for numerous musical projects, such as Bad Bad Hats and Dreamspook. Bringing us up to date, Con has now successfully released his first solo EP; ‘Far Off Distant Plans.’

‘Talk’, the 4th track on the debut EP (released October 2018), has a music video coming out tomorrow. The fair, warm colours on the video implicate different sides of the song. Imagery of different colour shades on the palette showcase all the different emotion’s Con went through with creating the song/story. As for the concept of the video and track, it’s pretty straight forward. Lack of communication is hard for anyone.  Having the phone as the main prop in video tells a one sided story of doubts in a relationship.

Con mentioned; “My favourite art is the kind that reveals the artist’s personality in an honest way. When collaborating with Dan Stewart, the director of the ‘Talk’ video, our goal was to keep it simple, fun and representative of myself.  A song with many sonic faces and characters, it felt natural to replicate that visually. I think it’s safe to say that I’ve wandered a lot in my life. ‘Talk’ is a response to anyone who assumed that my wandering was aimless.”
With an upcoming US tour (http://condavison.com/tour/), exciting things lie ahead for Con, and this is only the start. Here’s the video a day before the release…
