Indie-pop quartet Lower Loveday will grab your attention with their enthusiastic “Chains”
Lower Loveday are one of those bands that make you dance from the get go. Energetic and filled with the ‘wow’ factor, they elevate tracks with their punchy bass lines and contagious guitar melodies. 2019 has already been their strongest yet, and it’s not even over. Having supported the likes of APRE, Only The Poets and Upsahl, they also had a video go viral reaching over 1.5 million views. “Chains” just happens to be their biggest produced track to date. Chained to the rhythm, the pop rock track has been produced by Sugar House Productions. Mastered by Robin Schmidt (Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Blossoms), the infectious melody that drives through the song is hauntingly memorable.
“The track is a reinvention of sorts where we have worked with new producers who have given our sound a fresh makeover, ensuring the beats are thunderous and the melodies shine!” preaches the band.
After being featured on This Morning, Chains is that one track that won’t be leaving your playlist or head for a while. If it’s got the approval of Schofe and Holly Willoughby, it must be good! Sparking the summer in the right way, the pop based arrangement isn’t complex, but the simplicity of it is extraordinary. Coated in a stadium like production, the adrenaline and chemistry Lower Loveday illuminate through this number is blinding. Another strong track from a band that keep on giving.
