We’re throwing ourselves back in to live events, kickstarting them with RINNGS EP release at The Shacklewell Arms on the 19th July, with promoter Lanzarote.

RINNGS have been killing it recently with banger after banger, not to mention that insanely captivating video for ‘Confession’.

They’re currently gearing up for their EP release – and this show to celebrate said release – on the 19th July. Supporting them will London duo Bamboo Smoke, a duo bringing a truly unique, raw, ethereal style to the evening. Expect some alternative pop bops from them, perfect for a Thursday evening. Check out their track ‘Bailiff Love’ below.

We can’t wait to celebrate with them, we’ve been dying to announce this for a while now, so in lieu of that, we had a quick chat with RINNGS to find out what exactly you can expect from the EP and this show.

Hey guys! How are you doing, how’s life gearing up for the EP release?

It’s been great! We’ve loved hearing the response to the tracks so far. There’s been quite a bit to do, we did a live version of ‘Times Like These’ with a choir of 16 from London Contemporary Voices, which will be going up soon. We’ve been booking in a few more shows which is always fun and next up is to make a video for the last song on the EP!

We’re super excited to be working with you for the release show in London, what can fans expect from the gig?

Big songs, great support acts, an awesome venue and some tasty visuals to feast your eyes on. And of course, we’ve been rehearsing the new songs on the EP and are dead excited to play them on the 19th. We’ll be doing one of them for the first time live and we’re really looking forward to that- there’s nothing quite like playing a song live for the 1st time for a bit of nervous energy.

What’s your favourite thing about playing live?

Every time we play we find something new in a song. It’s amazing how it changes from show to show. I love seeing Karl play the drums!

Can you tell us anything about the EP, are there any surprises in store?

The last track on the EP is called Glorious. We’ve done had some introspective or thought-provoking tunes, so for this one, we thought we’d go for something a bit more feelgood…we’re looking forward to seeing how it goes down! We have a couple of pretty big remixes to release alongside the EP as well which we’re really excited about..watch this space…
