With Follow The Sun Festival happening just next month, we caught up with Me and The Moon to see what they had planned for their set at the Portsmouth festival…
For anyone who might not know Me and The Moon, could you tell us a little about yourselves?
Hi! We are Me and The Moon, we’re an Indie Pop/Folk band from Guildford.
What do you have planned for your set at Follow The Sun? Do you have any surprises in store?
Well we’ve just been in the studio working on some new music, so we’re planning to play a few new songs in our set! More synths and a slightly more electric set than what we’ve been playing before.
The Edge Of The Wedge has a 100 person capacity. Do you prefer playing small or large venues? How do the two compare?
The Edge is such a great venue. We had a headline show there back in February and it sold out which was awesome. It’s nice to have a mixture of both. Big venues are a lot of fun, but it’s nice to have an intimate, smaller venue where you can get a more personal connection with the audience!
Who are you looking forward to seeing at Follow The Sun?
It’s such a great lineup we’re planning to be there all day. We’ve played with Marsicans and Wild Front before so it’ll be nice to catch up with those guys. Also wanted to see Tom Millichamp live for a while now so that’ll be cool!
Why should people come and see you?
Haha, well it’s such a great intimidate festival with a really strong lineup for such a small price. We think people should get a ticket before they’re all gone. Get there for the first band (who are great) and stay until the last band (who are great) and hopefully you’ll find some new bands in between who you also think are great!
Follow The Sun Festival is a one day festival will take place on 7th July 2018 at The Edge Of The Wedge, Portsmouth. Get your tickets here
