The L.A pop star gets confessional in our brand new feature!
Some artists just can’t quell their creative nature and that is definitely a statement that is applicable to Molly Moore. The Los Angeles native is taking a brief respite from her tenure in electro pop duo Creature and Cosmos (a project that has earned her millions of streams so far!) to once again pursue her own output.
Latest single ‘Be Here Now’ follows in the wake of this year’s Third Eye High EP and is an evolution to the “Molly Moore” sound, further mixing an R&B flair with her rich synth tones. “I wrote this at the end of last year about constantly chasing something that brings you out of the present moment. I’m always working, and that can leave me feel void of actually living, and taking in the experience I’m creating for myself,” Moore elaborated in a recent statement.
“I recently have been going through the hardest time in my life since my father’s unexpected passing in April. This song is extremely relevant to me now as I see everything through a completely new perspective. It’s easy to become so distracted that you lose sight of what’s in front of you. I’ve started to really realize how important it is to spend time connecting with people on a deeper level, in every moment”.
