The London outfit have released new single ‘It’s Easy Then’ ahead of their huge support slot on Pixies UK tour
Two years removed from the release of their Mercury Prize nominated Love In The 4th Dimension, The Big Moon are finally back with a brand new single.
Builds upon the reputation that the band have crafted for themselves through their earlier work, ‘It’s Easy Then’ is a sultry and assured dose of left-field pop. Their sound explores a more broad palette of textures and sounds while maintaining their signature energy, and their stance as one of Britain’s most exciting new bands.
“‘It’s Easy Then’ is really about finding strength in strange times.” vocalist and lyricist Juliette Jackson revealed:
“We work too much, we think too much, we know too much so we all worry too much. Our anxieties are stoked every day. Music has this incredible way of helping us see with a new perspective, and ties up our feelings in a way that language by itself never could.
“I wanted to write a song that made me feel better. Something that captured the frustrations, but also the hope and joy all at the same time.”
