VŌS dropped their debut single ‘Patience’ one year ago and haven’t stopped since…
On May 8th last year, VŌS were brand new on the music scene and had just released their debut single ‘Patience‘. Now a year down the line, the duo are on track to make a name for themselves.
Soon after the release of ‘Patience’, VŌS played their first gig at Alleycat in Soho. This was followed by a jam-packed year of gigs including Sofar Sounds London, The Dancing Man Brewery, Southampton, 93 Feet East and, more recently, Camden Assembly.
In August, VŌS released their second single ‘Tide’ with ‘Wait’ as the B-side which received numerous radio spins on UK and European radio stations. The critically acclaimed tracks led to being featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 Music’s show in September and the BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio London in October.
In December, they performed a stunning stripped-back version of ‘Wait’ and Noah Cyrus’ ‘Again’ with Reload Sessions. January marked a massive milestone for them as they undertook a recording session at Abbey Road Studios, and another milestone was met last month by filming their first music video.
The release of their debut single was followed by a fruitful year for the duo, growing their following and setting themselves up to flourish in 2018.
VŌS provided us a more personal insight into their year: “Alongside several cool gigs, we’ve recorded an acoustic version of one of our tracks at the renowned Abbey Road. We also have an exciting new track coming out in the next month or so, which we can’t wait to share with you!”
