Can you believe it’s been a whole year since the release of ‘Won’t Look Back’?

One year has flown by since we featured Geowulf‘s ‘Won’t Look Back’, but what have the Aussie dream pop duo been up to over the following 12 months? Turns out, a lot!

Geowulf spent the summer of 2017 productively in the studio recording their debut album as well playing a string of festival spots including Latitude and The Great Escape. Their first headline show was held that Autumn on 10th October at Sebright Arms, London which was supported by Odina and turned out to be a sell-out!

‘Won’t Look Back’ was followed by the release of their Relapse EP and four singles which were received with critical acclaim. Furthermore, Spotify included ‘Hideaway’ in New Music Friday Australia, UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Iceland and Poland playlists and ‘Drink Too Much’ in the New Indie Mix playlist.

A string a sold-out shows, a Loose Ends Session on BBC Radio 4 and radio/magazine/blog interviews including BBCMusic contributed to growing their impressive following and millions of streams on Spotify.

The duo released their debut album Great Big Blue featuring ‘Won’t Look Back’ in February and are currently preparing to play festivals in May as well as beginning to pen their next album.

Geowulf: “It’s been a big twelve months. Spent last summer recording the album and released this February. Played some great festivals last summer including Live at Leeds, Latitude, Great Escape, Hit the North, etc. We like to stay busy so we’re looking forward to touring and we are already writing for album two.”
