Liverpool four-piece, Idle Frets, have released a pretty brilliant video for their Al Groves produced ‘Talk About You’… you’re going to want to watch this.

The band, who’ve previously toured with the likes of indie legends The 1975 and Catfish and the Bottlemen., have also recently announced a UK headline tour including a mega date at Camden Assembly on November 21st. Not to mention that, but they’ve now also supported the Pigeon Detectives, pretty impressive right?

The video that we’re exclusively premiering is for their super infectious track, ‘Talk About You’, which you can watch below.

The track has a subtle anthemic indie sound to it, that you just know will be perfect to lose yourself in when seeing it live. The track was reportedly sparked by a personal event in the band’s lives. About going from being desirable to the one that nobody wants.

Frontman Ben had this to say on the track and video: “The track is about a girl manipulating a group of guys, playing them off each other, but when the guys realise what’s going on it backfires and leaves her with nobody, all alone. We thought the image of a chessboard and chess pieces would be a great analogy of the situation: the girl playing with the pieces of the game. In the end, there are no pieces left to play with. Chuck in a bit of band footage and Bob’s your nan. DiCaprio look out son, the Oscar is mine this year.”
