Back at it again, Type 4 have released their first single of 2019, ‘Look Back and Laugh’. Another classic hip-hop track with 808’s and memorable, rhythmic lyricism.

With caribbean undertones, ‘Look Back and Laugh’ has a hypnotic atmosphere where yet again Tommy and Matt flawlessly take the listeners on a journey, with clean lyricism and a killer story behind the song.

Laying down the basis for the song Type 4 said, “Ladies and gentlemen: the story you are about to hear is true; only the names have been changed to protect the innocent. Drawing upon an extensive body of involuntary research, this is a third-person tale of last chances and first steps; a reassurance that the next chapter of life is merely a turn of the page away, just as long as you keep reading.”

Still making Hip-Hop for grownups, the old fashioned way, for the love of it, Type 4 certainly live up to expectations.
