Optimism and courage are the focal points of Big Lonely’s latest single ‘Ticket’

Ontario’s Big Lonely have released their latest single, the infectiously catchy ‘Ticket’.
The single is taken from their upcoming LP Bad Magic. The concept of the album is simple, to represent optimism and hope in the face of dark and testing circumstances. ‘Ticket’ is a microcosm of this idea. Swirling guitars whirr around impassioned vocals, as the track weaves and glides throughout its duration. The uplifting tone exemplifies the ethos of the band. This is indie-rock designed to inspire belief, and it does so exceptionally well.
The band have described the single as being about “using someone’s belief in you as the fuel to do the things that you wouldn’t have the courage to do otherwise. Eventually that fuel runs out – while it’s helped you get to where you are, you now believe in yourself enough to go a little further. There are stops along the way if you run out of gas.”
