Main wants to keep it ‘Simple’ on his dreamy new track
FFO: Present, British
Currently residing in the burrow of Brooklyn, New York, Main crafts indie-tronica with heart. Leaving the days of playing rhythm for the likes of Frankie Cosmos behind him, the artist has embarked on a new musical journey, sharing the first single for his upcoming solo debut that’ll be hitting the airwaves in summer.
‘Simple’ tells the story of a boy and girl who, to put it in more simple terms (see what we did there?), want to keep their no-strings-attached relationship, and keep it simple (sorry, we’ll stop now.) It’s beautifully crafted, meshing together a vocal duet that echoes back and forth as if to replicate the minds of the two people. Dreamy guitar lines flutter behind the soundscape, leaving minimalist beats and echoing synth runs to drive the rhythm. Perfect for a contemplative late night cruise, or a wander down neon-lit city streets.
