Foreign Dog Might Be ‘Lost In The City’, But He Isn’t Lost In Music

Foreign Dog releases brand new single ‘Lost In The City’, a 80’s inspired pop song with a singer-songwriter flourish. Channeling the electronic sensibility of the likes of The Killers (and some of the vocal stylings of Brandon Flowers), Charlie Calleja, better known as Foreign Dog, is a singer-songwriter who is back to gnawing his teeth on creating music, after a long hiatus from the industry after working witht he likes of Josh Klinghoffer and Zac Rae. Where he was once in the punk rock scene, Calleja has garnered his own foothold in a much more serene and laidback scene, that of the singer-songwriter.
The lead single from his upcoming second EP, ‘Lost In The City’ is a throwback to the music of Peter Gabriel, with the electronic instrumentation of the aforementioned The Killers. This is heartfelt pop music with an 80’s nostalgia tint, and it’s a perfect combination. Calleja’s voice is like a warm blanket, something to cuddle up in and experience the glitz and glamour of the music on show.
