‘Day Dreaming’, ironically enough, is the perfect track to lift spirits and dance the day away. Devon clearly knows how to write good pop music. Compared to his earlier singles, this is a much more uplifting track. Filled with joyous energy and ecstasy, ‘Day Dreaming’ is pure unadulterated fun, and that sounds good enough for us. The producer and songwriter has combined the vocalised synths of early Daft Punk with driving indie beats to make a perfect summer song.

Having already seen support from the likes of BBC Introducing, seen his previous single ‘Weirdo’ have widespread play across Radio 1 and supported Pretty Vicious. Inspired by a wide variety of artists ranging from Michael Jackson to to Twenty One Pilots, the singer and producer has everything to work from, giving him the foundations for a successful career to come.
