Basement Revolver air the anthemic shoegaze of ‘Wax & Digital’
Canadian outfit Basement Revolver build upon their existing sound with their new single ‘Wax & Digital’. Their first single since the release of last year’s album Heavy Eyes, ‘Wax & Digital’ is the title track taken from their forthcoming EP of the same name.
Capturing a spritely tone, the new single channels a driving momentum with soaring shoegaze tones, as deft guitar work elevates the track from the murkier moments of the sub-genre for an anthemic feel. Offset by the charmingly affable vocal of singer and guitarist Chrisy Hurn, the Ontario band’s latest effort is a rollicking outing that merges the likes of Snail Mail with Honeyblood.
‘Wax & Digital’ is available now via Sonic Unyon Records.
