Inspired by the Golden Globes award winning Netflix film, Billie is set to release ‘When I Was Older’.

Announcing on social media this morning, Billie Eilish revealed the release of a new single titled, ‘When I was Older’, dropping tomorrow on Wednedsay 9th of January.

Billie has taken inspiration from the recent Golden Globes award winning film ‘Roma’, currently on Netflix. The film was written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón (the writer for the film, Gravity) and is based on a story: “Set in 1970 and 1971, the film is a semi-autobiographical take on Cuaróns upbringing in Mexico City, and follows the life of a live-in housekeeper to a middle-class family.”

 

The new single follows from the previous ‘When The Party’s Over’ and ‘You Should See Me In a Crowd’. Keep your ears and eyes open tomorrow for the release of ‘When I was Older’.
