The band is currently on tour. Take a sneak peek behind the curtain and find out what’s it like to play a headline show.

How did you react when you found out the last two shows in London had been sold out?

It’s pretty crazy and unexpected; we love London, and it’s our hometown, so it’s always great to know that you’re loved, and people want to come to see you play. Hopefully, we can keep up that record!

You are currently on tour. How does it feel to play a headline show and how do you prepare for the tour?

There’s always a little bit of pressure when you headline a show but we love that pressure, plus you always want to see your name at the top of the bill. I think the main preparation for touring is making sure our livers are fully prepared to drink 1000 beers.

What is the most exciting part of being on tour apart from being on stage almost every night?

Travelling around the country and playing to new people, gaining new fans, all make it super exciting. Not sitting in a car full of gear and farts though, would be much more exciting in a private jet with a few bottles of Moet.

How do you think your live shows will change/evolve in the future?

It’s just going to get bigger and bigger, even this show we’re planning some big things, so hopefully, the crowd keeps getting bigger with our live shows.
We’re always trying new things and coming up with ways to keep people and ourselves interested so keep coming to the shows!

What is your process of choosing the order of tracks you play live?

It’s all about impact, but there has to be a flow. You don’t want to blow your load too early and not end big enough, but at the same time you don’t want to start too slow and soft otherwise you’ll never get there.
One thing is for sure, Heed and Mike never know the order of the tracks we play live.

Do you more comfortable in the studio or on stage?

Both have their merits, playing on stage is a blast, and we like to go big but being in the studio and getting creative can be just as fun.

Can you share a unique fan experience?

We’ve got this one fan called Mike from New York (who we’ve aptly named New York Mike) – he’s actually travelled over from the US to see us in London which is absolutely fucking mental.

What are you currently listening to?

Cardi B’s new album – got that shit on repeattttt

Are you planning on releasing a full-length album anytime soon and do you think it’s better to release music independently or through the label?

Albums are tough because without funding they get overlooked. So far we’ve only released music independently via AWAL, but if any big labels are reading the mixtape is fire.

As for new music, we will be releasing some new music soon so keep an ear out!

Finally, describe your live shows in three words.
