With “man of the moment” Tom Grennan and Mystery Jets set to headline, the line-up for Gloucester’s Barn On The Farm festival is already looking immense…
The festival will be taking place from the 5th to 8th July, and sees Bedford’s Tom Grennan at the top of the bill. Following the huge success of his powerful single ‘Sober’ in January this year, Grennan will be releasing his debut full-length album in May – and to celebrate, playing the top spot at Gloucester’s intimate Barn On The Farm festival.
Also joining him as headliners will be post-punk revivalist legends Mystery Jets. Elsewhere on the bill are Manchester rising indie-stars Pale Waves, Sea Girls, Lancashire’s dreampop duo Aquilo, Tom Walker, plus Laura Hayden-fronted pop quartet Anteros, Nina Nesbitt and Sam Fender. It doesn’t end there, with Stereo Honey, Gengahr and many more artists still to be announced…
And if this huge list of artists isn’t enough, the festival is quite literally a barn on a farm – so you can pop round to meet the ostriches who reside in the field next door.
“We are totally thrilled with this year’s line-up. There’s a great mix of hotly-tipped artists sure to hit the wave soon, and some sure-fire live favourites. Give it a few months and everyone will be talking about these upcoming acts,” explains Barn On The Farm head-honcho Josh Sanger.
“It’s a real joy for us to provide these artists with an intimate and relaxed live space down on the Farm, where the crowd is so engaged with the music rather than simply flouncing about in a fairy/tiger costume. Everyone mingles and makes friends at Barn on the Farm too; there are no barriers, VIP’s or suchlike. Just beware of the ostriches – no one messes with them.”
