This year the Big Weekend will be heading to Middlesbrough!
This morning BBC Radio 1 unveiled Middlesbrough as the city host for this years Big Weekend 2019. Featuring an impressive first bill of artists including Grammy award winning The 1975 and Little Mix. The roster of artists also includes the Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, American superstar Miley Cyrus, joined by Zara Larsson, Khalid, and rising star Mabel. The host of artists confirmed for the festival shared the news with BBC Radio 1 through twitter.

This year the festival will head to Steward Park in Middlesbrough on May 25-26th following last years edition held in Swansea that saw the likes of George Ezra, Taylor Swift, Camilla Cabello and Florence & The Machine. With the full line-up yet to be released, we can’t wait to see who will be supporting Miley Cyrus and The 1975 as headliners for what is one of the biggest weekends in the UK.
