With Brighton’s The Great Escape festival drawing ever-closer, and over 100 new artists announced, we just can’t stay away. Let’s have (another) #AnotherLook…
The Great Escape festival brings something for everyone, from grime to garage-punk, neo-soul to indie-rock, and true to it’s name, offers a three day escape from life’s woes in the form of great music. But, with an already huge line-up and another 100 announced, we think it’s fair to say this year’s set to be the greatest escape yet.
Already announced are BBC Sound of 2018 shortlisters Lewis Capaldi and Sam Fender, British rock heroes Hunter And The Bear, Stereo Honey and Manchester favourites Pale Waves to name but a few.
Joining this massive line up are Leeds scuzz-rockers Forever Cult, fresh off their tour with Fizzy Blood. Bright-haired Finnish singer-songwriter Alma and Brighton’s soul-songstress Lily Moore also make the bill.
Elsewhere on the bill sees Nina Nesbitt, Pip Blom and Husky Loops join the line-up, alongside Swimming Girls, indie singer/songwriter/producer Art School Girlfriend and legendary singer-songwriter RuthAnne following her debut single ‘The Vow’, whose illustrious writing career includes writing music for One Direction, Britney Spears and JoJo.
