We are thrilled to announce that Born Music are once again hosting our very own Blogtober show! It takes place at the Finsbury Pub in North London on October 26th and looks set to be huge.

The free show features an exceptional line up consisting of FEVA, Among The Citizens, Pelicandy and Aislin Evans. Tickets are available on dice.fm and all of the information that you will need about the show is here. This is not an event that you want to miss.

To celebrate the occasion we caught up with Among The Citizens and the lads were kind enough to share their favourite pre-show tracks.

How are you guys feeling in the lead up to the Blogtober show?

We couldn’t be more excited for it, to be asked to perform with such a high standard of bands in London at a cool venue and be part of this huge event, it’s rushed us off our feet a bit.

Do you have any pre-show rituals?

We’ve got a couple, we’ll contain ourselves away and just talk for a bit about anything, before going to set up as after that point we don’t really have the time to sit around talking. Nothing special really but it helps us just to focus that little bit more, clears our heads kinda thing.

Do you have a favourite song to perform live?

Antisocial is definitely the song that gets us and the crowd hyped for the set. If a set seems a little bit dead for whatever reason you can always rely on that song to get a room buzzing.

Are there any artists that you take inspiration from in terms of your live show?

In the live show we try to do our own thing as much as possible, unsure if we really take inspiration from acts for our performance, think it’s just about us in the moment and how we’re feeling that night. It is inevitable that we do take inspiration from somewhere but our main aim is just to put on the best show we can for the people that come out to watch us.

What is your most memorable show to date and why?

Probably our hometown show supporting Eliza & The Bear at the Portland Arms in Cambridge for Juicebox Live. We’ve never seen the room that packed for an opening act before and the response we got was awesome, couldn’t have wished for a better night on that one really.
