Stockport five piece Blossoms have had a storming 2016 after their triumph on the BBC Sound Of… List and a SXSW showcase courtesy of long term supporter Steve Lamacq. Tirelessly touring around the country, their live performance is improving along with their discography and ahead of the release of their debut album in August, this is assured to be a huge warm up show for its arrival.

Reading four piece The Amazons have set the blogosphere alight in 2016 following on from the release of their ‘Do You Wanna’ EP of 2015. Failing to put a foot wrong with immaculate follow-up singles and a fast growing following, this band are on the fast ascent up festival lineups so Standon is the prime location for a showcase of their music thus far.

Hard Rock four-piece from Southampton, formed back in 2014. They released their debut EP  in December of last year (2015), as a result of this they’ve been featured within KERRANG rock magazine and also featured airtime on both KERRANG and BBC radio. A combination of groove-based riffs and melodic licks, mean that this band have been compared with the likes of the FOO FIGHTERS (if they were British).

Blood Red Shoes have been a staple of the British indie rock scene for almost a decade with a long discography permeated with fan favourites and cult hits including ‘Heartsink’ and ‘It’s Boring By The Sea’. Styling themselves in a similar manner to The White Stripes, expect roaring riffs, boisterous beats and hand in the air anthem mentality.
